Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great little bullhorn for the price
I use this bullhorn to speak to 150+ people in the volleyball league I organize. Works very well for this group, although there is noticable feedback at maximum volume. Since medium volume works fine for this size group, I am very happy with the performance, particularly in light of the low price.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great megaphone for the price!!!
I bought this megaphone just for the fun of it just because they can be funny. It's plenty loud and yes, lightweight. I stood in this big parking lot and my brother was on the other side and he still heard me fine with the volume not even being half way up! I say it's a great product for $30 total.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - A good buy
i'm a face painter and i bought this to use at parties (large indoor venues, and especially outdoors). i use it to do my intro and then to call the kids for their turn. it works great and is very portable. just be careful with the music feature it can be very startling - i use it for just a couple of seconds to get everybody to look my way. the only down side is that it does have some feedback if you're not holding it at a good angle. overall, i'm very pleased and would recommend this product.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - too small
I didn't realize that they made such a model: small and not sufficiently powerful. The savings realized in this model wasn't worth it, especially when you add shipping costs. Don't buy it.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Small, but powerful enough
I am a clown. Sometimes I have to get peoples attention. The siren is nice and loud, a good entrance. The megaphone is powerful enough to gather people for my magic show, even in a park. The price is very reasonable, but shipping and handling increased the price by a third. (ouch!) I would have liked a greater variety of sounds to chose from, or even the ability to record or download sounds, but I suppose that is the property of much more expensive and heavier models. Overall, I am very pleased with what this light weight, powerful megaphone can do.

The fact that I'm able to type this blog entry less than a week after the operation has me hopeful that recovery will be quicker than I was led to believe, but it will still be a few weeks before I'm able to really tackle any serious work.

The proposed acquisition of Macromedia by Adobe is not a done deal. Both companies are under the scrutiny of the SEC, and it must also be approved by stockholders. While Macromedia/Adobe gives this process three to nine months, some industry analysts feel that is being overly optimistic. But assuming that all is goes as planned, Macromedia will cease to exist. Everything will be in the Adobe name and with the Adobe interface.
