Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Need Owner's Manual and Detailed Assembly Instructions
As a brand new owner and assembler of the 2008 IZIP Tricruiser Adult Electric Tricycle, I recommend IZIP develop an owner's manual, with detailed assembly instructions. The owner's manual that was sent is for the two wheeled version. I was informed that there is no manual for the Tricycle yet. A Tricycle specific manual with pictures would really save the customer a lot of time and give confidence in assembling the product.

Thank you,

Dean Niedernhofer

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Was VERY disappointed!
I ordered this product after reading the other two reviews. My Tricruiser arrived and my husband and I opened the two boxes and started to put it together. Some parts were packed well, others not and we noticed scratches in the paint on the fenders. I figured I would just call Currie Technologies and see about getting some touch up paint or the parts replaced under the one-year warranty. Well...I was informed that this seller is not an authorized IZIP dealer so the warranty is VOID. No way would I have purchased this product if the description stated no warranty came with it!! We packed up the parts (better than how they arrived!) and I contacted Amazon.com to arrange pick up and issue a refund. I called Currie back and asked if there were any authorized dealers in my area and there were a couple but still too far away for us to drive to. The rep mentioned that I could order on-line from Thesuperkidscom (one of their most popular authorized dealers) and I did for just $889.00 with free shipping and no sales tax charged. My Tricruiser is on the way and I am waiting for my refund from Amazon.com...I'm not sure this review follows "the guidelines" and I do hate to give a negative review because I have had many happy purchases through Amazon.com but this sure wasn't one of them.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - What a ride!
Wow, the ride is great. I live in a very hilly area and the power takes me right up some pretty steep hills. I use it to shop, ride it to the drive-in window at fast food places, and ride just for fun around the neighborhood. Everyone gets such a kick out of seeing this new form of transportation.

I work at a school about 2 miles from my house and I will take this to work after summer vacation is over. I have had the bike for two weeks and use it 3-4 times a day. No telling how much gas I am saving. I am really pleased.

I had a little trouble putting it together. The owner's manual is for other bikes and scooters in the manufacturer's product line.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great bike/Great price
I did my shopping for a decent adult electric three wheeler and this bike offered the most in features and value. It shipped for free and arrived in about a week in two boxes. The instructions were clear and well written. All of the nuts and bolts were already installed and it was an easy task as long as you have a helper to hold things as you tighten all the fasteners.
I've had electric bikes in the past and this is the first three wheeler.
My first test ride was awesome! This bike actually has torque! It pulled away with no peddling at all and got up to 15-18mph. The throttle is like a twist-grip and is very responsive. The overall quality is excellent and the seat even comes with a back rest. The frame is aluminum and very strong with quality welds throughout. The basket even folds down and pops up quickly. I'll use this bike for local shopping and beer runs, because my Mercury Marquis is too expensive to operate for casual trips.
I added some headlights and a tail light and a decent cable lock and I'm very satisfied with this bike. It's lots of fun and is a great ride for adults who want to ride easy and enjoy the outdoors. It's also the best-price on the Net.

This year has seen several young companies--including Orbius--offering to harness the power of social networking for business.

The proposed acquisition of Macromedia by Adobe is not a done deal. Both companies are under the scrutiny of the SEC, and it must also be approved by stockholders. While Macromedia/Adobe gives this process three to nine months, some industry analysts feel that is being overly optimistic. But assuming that all is goes as planned, Macromedia will cease to exist. Everything will be in the Adobe name and with the Adobe interface.

Virgin America formally launches: Last week, Virgin America offered free Wi-Fi on its single Internet-equipped aircraft, My Other Ride's a Spaceship. Today, the service goes commercial ($10 for flights 3 hours or shorter; $13 for longer flights), and the rollout to other planes begins. Virgin has a special URL--http://wifitracker.virginamerica.com/--that takes you to a tracking page showing which flights in progress have Wi-Fi, but they don't yet tell you how to determine whether a given flight you'll be on will offer the service. With 24 planes and a plan to add service one per week, that shouldn't be a problem for long.

Heathrow Airport Coach Link adds Internet service: Icomera, a leading transportation Wi-Fi firm, has added free Wi-Fi to FirstGroup's RailAir coach service that connects Heathrow Airport with Reading in England. RailAir runs every 20 minutes for a 50-minute route. FirstGroup handles 3 million passengers a day across all its routes, which makes it a plum market for future expansion.

Awareness Technologies adds Wi-Fi positioning for laptop recovery: Awareness is the latest firm to partner with Skyhook Wireless to use Wi-Fi positioning to its products, in this case Laptop Cop, software designed to aid in recovery. The software starts at $50 for a 1-year license, with discounts for quantity.
