great item
When I purchased this ladder it was marked as "new" but when I received it the borders were worn and the cap was cracked. It is of good quality nevertheless.

Exactly what we needed
This ladder is perfect and inexpensive. It splits in two halves so we can use it in the living room year round. Other reviews made me think it was cheaply made but it's not. Perhaps they've improved it because it doesn't look like the one in the picture. The one in the picture looks cheaply made, but the one I received isn't. Neither of my kids, 5 and 8, were blessed with agility, speed or quickness, but this ladder has helped both of them greatly in a short time, plus they think it's fun. I highly recommend this ladder along with:

Great training item
My daughter plays soccer and she and her team have been using this product to increase their speed and agility. It comes complete with its own bag and can easily be broken into two sections so that 2 groups can use it at once. Great item!

Budget ladder, but it does the job
I bought this ladder because it was inexpensive. The differences between this one and a more expensive one that I've used previously are not significant to me, but they may be to you. Instead of plastic interlocking clips to join the 2 ladders, this one uses a velco overlap. The "tree" that the slats thread onto while not in use is plastic instead of metal. This ladder is used once or twice a week in an adult outdoor fitness camp setting, and it fits the bill nicely.

Not a bad purchase
I am a personal trainer and I've been using the ladder with my clients since I bought it. My clients find it fun and interesting. This was one of the cheapest options for a speed agility ladder and to a certain degree you get what you pay for. It is fairly shoddily made and the carry bag it came in is already disintegrating. Despite the cheapness of its construction I'm not sorry for having purchased it. It does the trick, and for the cost, you can't go too wrong.
