Customer Reviews
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Liked it, but.......
The instructions were not kidding when it advises that all tangles and knots must first be brushed out of the coat. If that were possible, I wouldn't have needed the clippers. A pekingese with matted fur presented some problems but, all things considered, I believe the product performed with good power and it was quiet enough not to disturb the pet.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Need to get the more expensive model.
I got this clipper for my dog but the blade was to fine, I then found out this model only has one style blade. I needed a #10 or #4 for my dog. The more expensive model has the ability to change blades not this one. The motor drive is great. The manufacture gave me credit toward an upgrade and I shipped it back and they shipped me the proper clipper. Great customer service at ANDIS.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Great clippers fo a chihuahua
These clippers are fine if you have a small dog with fine hair. They were useless on my Australian shepherd. I returned them and took her to the groomers.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Won't cut my shih tzu's hair
I didn't know better so I bought the cheapest kit I could find figuring what difference did it make because I wasn't a professional. Well these clippers don't cut my shih tzus hair. I have to press really hard to get it to cut, the plastic combs are useless as well. She ended up looking awful because I had to press so hard to get a little bit off. I ended up having to spend $109 to buy the Andis Professional Animal Clipper. That's much better and I'm able to cut my dog's hair without a problem. It cost almost $100 to get a dog groomed in NYC, plus all the time it takes to pick up and drop them off as well. It makes much more sense to just give your dog a haircut after you bathe it.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Try another product - This clipper can't cut butter
This clipper can't cut butter. I have a small maltese and the clipper struggles with her hair. Maybe it's not for long haired dogs?? It was so frustrating trying to clip my dog's hair that I just ended up taking her to the groomers the next day. Skip this product and pay a little more for one that the professionals use.

This year has seen several young companies--including Orbius--offering to harness the power of social networking for business.

The proposed acquisition of Macromedia by Adobe is not a done deal. Both companies are under the scrutiny of the SEC, and it must also be approved by stockholders. While Macromedia/Adobe gives this process three to nine months, some industry analysts feel that is being overly optimistic. But assuming that all is goes as planned, Macromedia will cease to exist. Everything will be in the Adobe name and with the Adobe interface.

Virgin America formally launches: Last week, Virgin America offered free Wi-Fi on its single Internet-equipped aircraft, My Other Ride's a Spaceship. Today, the service goes commercial ($10 for flights 3 hours or shorter; $13 for longer flights), and the rollout to other planes begins. Virgin has a special URL--http://wifitracker.virginamerica.com/--that takes you to a tracking page showing which flights in progress have Wi-Fi, but they don't yet tell you how to determine whether a given flight you'll be on will offer the service. With 24 planes and a plan to add service one per week, that shouldn't be a problem for long.

Heathrow Airport Coach Link adds Internet service: Icomera, a leading transportation Wi-Fi firm, has added free Wi-Fi to FirstGroup's RailAir coach service that connects Heathrow Airport with Reading in England. RailAir runs every 20 minutes for a 50-minute route. FirstGroup handles 3 million passengers a day across all its routes, which makes it a plum market for future expansion.

Awareness Technologies adds Wi-Fi positioning for laptop recovery: Awareness is the latest firm to partner with Skyhook Wireless to use Wi-Fi positioning to its products, in this case Laptop Cop, software designed to aid in recovery.
