I have been a New Balance shoe wearer for about 6 years now. I have loved every pair I have had. I bought these and they felt great on my feet. Unfortunatly, I got a fluke bad pair of shoes and the stiching that holds the shoe lace eyelets in place came free the second time I wore them. Amazon was great about taking the faulty item back though.

New Balance Men's MR1223 Running ShoeThese shoes are super soft and mold to your foot like a glove. they are made with a very light material and the mesh is very breathable. These are the best shoes I have ever own. The only thing i would of changed is the color. I bought the red and white which are nice but I would of preferred blue and white.

A couple of years ago I had my running analyzed at a local shoe store to find the right shoe for my running style. Prior to this, I was buying running shoes based on how they looked. Little did I know that each person's foot strike would dictate the type of shoe they needed. My Nike's were giving me shin splints and ankle pain.
The running shoe store found that I over-pronated and that I needed shoes for stability on the inner part of my feet. They recommended the New Balance 1221. Very pleased with the shoes but not pleased with Amazon's rather deceptive marketing ploy of selling the same pair of shoes with different prices using misleading description. The New Balance Men's MR1223 Running shoes White/Silver/Blue is exactly the same as the White/Navy/Red but it was sold $18 more. The New Balance website show only two available colors: White/Silver/Blue and Silver/Grey/Green (this is the same as Silver/Grey/Yellow). So, watch out for Amazon's listing of 4 different colors when there are actually only 2 available colors from the manufacturer New Balance.
