Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great book!
This book has definitely helped me focus on my grip, swing, and other areas that I need to improve my game. Would have like to have seen a better dvd associated with it. The dvd lessons are quite short, otherwise the instructions in the book are great and the pictures they use are quite clear. Good book for those looking to improve their game!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Golf The Best Instruction Book Ever
I don't know if it is "The Best Instruction Book Ever" as I have only read a few but it is most certainly informative and well set out. The many pictures are very helpful and clarify the instructions. The way the book is set out makes it very quick and easy to look up . I think it would be helpful to most levels of golfers.I think value for money, it is excellent.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great for Beginners...
Ive just started dabbling in golf- I've picked up an inexpensive set of clubs and wanted to get the basics down before I started to retain any bad habits- and this book has helped my practices become more productive. Each page is filled with large pictures and easy to understand descriptions. The only downside is that the book is filled with tips from multiple golf pros- and some of the tips seem to contradict those from other golf pros within the book.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Superb!
This is a superb collection of instructions, tips and lessons. I have personally benefited by reading this and implementing at practice.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Excellent product
I am a serious golfer with handicap index. When I read this book, I know this information inside is really good. Including everything you need to know about improving your golf swing. A great product.

All About N-Gage have the dirt on a game that looks like it has a lot of potential: Asphalt: Urban GT.  I can't say that I've played much more than some FIFA and other random stuff on the N-Gage, but a good racer can add a lot of value to a gaming platform.  Of course I'm still waiting to see if Call of Duty rocks as much as it should.

Java Entrepreneur

A couple of days back I had told you how a Polish security expert and hacker Adam Gowdiak had created ripples by reporting vulnerability in Nokia S 40 phones and had in turn asked for $29,500 for releasing the complete report. This entire incident had raise eyebrows in the community.

Nokia admitted to have received the security threat notice from Adam Gowdiak and now the company has admitted that its S series operating system is vulnerable to hackers and malicious programs could be installed. I was wondering whether Nokia had paid for his efforts or not since the company avoided commenting on this issue. Even Adam Gowdiak could not be reached on this issue but to me it seems that his efforts have finally paid off. Best of luck Adam for your new venture!! See full article.

Ted Shelton: "Frankly I felt that BlogOn was a waste of time and money."

I think the BlogOn conference was overproduced. In the name of professionalism the organizing firm turned off potential speakers, oversubscribed sponsors, etc.

I would have liked a debatable topic (aside from *blogging = journalism*. Two people slugging it out. Or a devil's advocate taking challenges from the floor.

I would have liked more hard numbers. Facts. Charts. Diagrams. We have the analytic tools to BS-check them; harder on vague opinions and single-points-of-observation.

I found it disturbing how much money was being commanded (from both attendees and sponsors) for a conference at a university. Maybe it was because it was at Berkeley? Maybe we should have taken over a community college or a Cal State or a DeVry. The facilities costs would have been cheaper at least. I heard an organizer apologize and say the next one would be at a hotel, like that would have been better.

Cost wasn't the whole problem. We're at a stage where early adopters are meeting folks who want to leap the chasm. Huge gaps in knowledge, experience, context, culture, vocabulary. It's the gap.

There are huge ideas to be explored, even in the world of applying blogs to media strategy and the enterprise. And most of the big ideas weren't even on the agenda at BlogOn. Probably because it was catering to those who want to commercialize, fund, and otherwise exploit (excuse me, "get in on") the emerging medium.

Let's fork these conferences so advanced topics on business and technology and culture fit the participants.
