Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Pretty good chair
This chair is sturdy and easy to set up. It's lower to the ground than I thought it was going to be, so sometimes it is hard to get up from. The shade is huge, so if you are planning to use the chair at an outdoor concert/event, plan to sit behind everyone else or way off to the side (otherwise you'll hear the complaints from people behind you!). We've used them at little league games and will take them to the beach this summer.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Defective chairs - no solution
I purchased 4 reclining beach chairs w/canopy. Every single one broke. When the metal frame is inserted into the webbing on the arms, the frame ripped right through the webbing. The company replaced the four chairs and they, in turn, broke the same way. The company states that this is a known problem but offers no help other than to replace the chairs once more.

To add insult to injury, within three days of using the chairs, the elastic cord required to hold it in the upright position snapped, the zipper on one of the pouch came off, and the loop on the canopy cover tore out. All this happended within the first day or two of use.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great Chair
I purchased 2 of these chairs to take down to the Gulf. They go together easily and are very comfortable. The sun shade is great and kept me from getting burned. I had to carry it on my back for some distance and it was no problem. My only complaint is that one seam has pulled apart already--at the end of the armrest. Don't know if its repairable or not. I would have given it 5 stars if it had not been for that.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - The chair with 3 legs
I love the chair, the only problem was the seam came undone only after the second time of use. It's light and easy to use, perfect for the beach. Love the canopy attachment.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Best Outdoor Festival Chair Ever!!!
Perfect compact festival chairs.

I picked up two of these chairs for my wife and I to use at the Austin City Limits Music Festival in 2006 and we love them. We used them again this year and both years we have consistently had people asking us where we bought them, to the extent of it being somewhat annoying... :)

This chair is very well built.
Folds up into a small/light back pack, and is easy to transport. Although you should practice folding it back up at home before you drink too much beer.
Unfolds easily, and is simple to set up.
Sun shade is perfect for the hot Texas sun, although wind makes the shade a little unstable.
Arm rests have a drink holder and a zip pocket.

It would be great if Kelsyus made some small fold-able tent poles for the sun shade to stabilize the arm rest lines on breezy days.

The powerful black holes at the center of massive galaxies and galaxy clusters act as hearts to the systems, pumping energy out at regular intervals to regulate the growth of the black holes themselves, as well as star formation, according to new data from NASA's Chandra X-Ray Observatory.

Meraki offers wall plug, solar unit, apartment package: Meraki has added two products to its line up. A wall plug ($179) can be screwed into an outlet's center screw hole for theft prevention and stability, perfect for hotels and public venues. The long-awaited solar product is nearly ready, with a 4-December ship date ($749 with no solar panel up to $1,499 with highest-end panel).

Meraki switched battery technology to lithium iron-phosphate during the year-long delay, partly due to an increase in cost and shortage in solar panels. Meraki's also got a new bundle: $5,000 for a set of nodes designed to cover an apartment building.

Over at Ars Technica, I wrote a long recap of the state of municipal Wi-Fi, noting that Meraki seems to be on the winning side of the equation with its start-small approach. A number of municipal wireless projects (not all Wi-Fi) are getting rave reviews. We may be over the hump: applications (purposes as it were) are now driving network building rather than networks seeking reasons to be.

Violet prepares to ship an RFID tag reader, Mir:ror: The new device plugs in via USB to a computer and can read standard RFID tags, as well as new ones offered by the company. Some of Violet's tags look like postage stamps and are adhesive; others, like tiny versions of their Nabaztag/tag bunny. It's weird, but interesting, like all their stuff.

Qualcomm brings in Skyhook's Wi-Fi positioning: Qualcomm becomes the latest GPS giant to add Skyhook Wireless's technology to their platform. The gpsOne system, found in 400 million cell phones, will be enhanced in future versions with an option for Skyhook data to assist and integrate with GPS lookups. Qualcomm's sold so many chipsets due to E911 requirements for location finding.
