Amazon buyer beware
I purchased one of these in early October. When it arrived it would not work at all in spite of trying numerous batteries. I contacted Amazon asking for a replacement. I subsequently received an email from Amazon saying "For health and safety reasons, we don't want the original item back, so please dispose of it at your convenience." Now, three weeks later, Amazon has sent me another email saying that if I don't return the defective shaver they are going to charge my account. First they tell me to throw it away and then they tell me to return it three weeks later. How can I return it if I've thrown it away? What kind of game is this? Buyer beware.

My dad loves this
I got this for my dad and he loves this shaver. It shaves pretty well and it is pretty hand since it is cordless and runs on batteries.

Can't beat this one
If you think you must use a blade to get a perfect, close shave, you're wrong. This little gem is easy to use, well made (I dropped it on cement), and does a fantastic job. Can't recommend it enough.

Awesome
This is my second one that runs on AA batteries, my first one was purchased in Germany back in 1992. I still have it and it works great, I am just afraid that because it is that old that it will give out just when you need it. This one now (PocketGo P-70) is great, shaves close and and makes my skin feel smooth with no irritation. Although I always shave prior to a shower, it's nice to know that it is waterproof. I have had mine for about a month and still on the same set of batteries, usage is 4-5 times a week.

Cool design, ok shaver
SUMMARY: I give it 2-1/2 stars (rounded down to 2). The design is really cool and I really wanted to like it, but I just wish it shaved better. This shaver is ultimately just 'ok' -- ok for short trips or stuffing in the glove box, not so good for day-to-day use or getting an all-around good, close shave.
DETAILS: The shaver design is cool as it's very compact, has no cords and runs for up to a month on a set of batteries if using it every day for a couple of minutes per day.
Here's what's cool:
* Small, compact, portable design.
* Rotating cover that automatically locks the razor and protects the foil when closed and lets you shave when opened.
* Nice simple battery access that is sealed away from water. Battery cover on the bottom rotates to reveal the batteries.
* Cleaning brush built into the base.
* Easy to clean - just open, brush off the blades and rinse under the water. I recommend you let it air dry before replacing the foil/cover.
* My face gets irritated easily and I didn't get razor burn from this shaver, no matter what I did.
* Small, portable and easy to travel with or for a quick shave in the car.
Here's what's just ok:
* Kind of noisy.
* Shave was decent on my face. Neck was not so good and had to resort to using my old shaver to get some of the missed hairs.
* As the batteries wear down, the shave isn't as good, but it's hard to tell when you have reached the point of needing to change the batteries.
* Trimmer is inconvenient to use.
SUMMARY: Don't buy this as a day-to-day razor. It's nice to keep in your bag or glove box for those days you forget or don't have time to shave before leaving the house, or for when you are taking a quick trip and don't want to bring your bulkier electric razor. I really wanted to like this shaver, but it's difficult to give it a better rating than 2 stars (which is mostly for the design itself).

Not that it wasn't technically possible before, but the HP Mini 1000 now has official support for 3G WWAN Mobile Broadband out of the box and with support for multiple cell carriers.
