Works great!!
I just started hiking with my husband this past winter and after one hike last weekend where we were eaten alive by mosquitos, I decided to do some research and find a nice safe mosquito repellent. I found the Repel Lemon Eucalyptus highly recommended at several sites, and by the reviewers here at Amazon, so I ordered two bottles for my husband and I. We tried it out this morning when hiking through a mosquito-infested area, we sprayed it on each other and although we were surrounded & followed by clouds of mosquitos, they didn't land on us after we sprayed the Repel on ourselves! The smell was nice and the product had a very light dry-oil type texture, not greasy or sticky. We were both very impressed and plan to keep using it. We hike with our dogs and don't like using products with chemicals that they could inadvertently ingest, and this product is just wonderful!

Best insect repellent ever! Even better than DEET!!!!!
This spray is the best...EVER!!! We live in FL and have 500 acres of natural preserve behind us - along with plenty of fresh, stagnant water. You could go out in the heat of the day in the sun and the mosquitos will swarm on you. I bought this with low expectations - I mean, we've tried so many sprays and none have worked that great (even the Deep Woods OFF w/DEET never worked that great). My husband works in the yard and fishes often and even he (a firm believer that any bug spray needs to have DEET in it to be effective) loves this spray. Not only is it more effective than anything we've tried, it stays on longer! Plus, we love the fact that it's natural and doesn't contain those controverial chemicals like DEET.

Chemical free and feelin' good
This is a terrific bug spray. It makes the skin feel delightfully cool, I'm not allergic to it, and it WORKS. What else could one wish?

Yes, you can be Deet free and bite free
I am allergic to Deet. I've been the one at the back of the camping/hiking/fishing trips silently feeding millions of mosquitoes and other biting insects in misery for years- until now. I've tried everything on the market and was always disappointed, since all the deet free products I tried either triggered my allergies or just plain didn't work. This year, my doctor recommended I try the deet-free Repel, and I am sold. The difference is like night and day. We took it on a trip photographing butterflies and dragonflies in swamps in the Rio Grande Valley, TX, and came away bite free. Didn't work on chiggers, but I don't think it's supposed to. I'm not sure it lasts as long as the deet-containing products- my husband started using it exclusively as well, and he has to apply it more often than the Off or Cutter products he used to use. But I'm talking a drop from six hours of effectiveness to four, hardly a problem if you have room in your pack to carry the stuff. Also, it smells like Eucalyptus, which some people don't like, and you will smell of it for HOURS, even after it has lost it's effectiveness or until you take a shower.

Amazing Product, works great
Ya know the guy in the crowd who always has the army of bugs flying around his head? That guy is me. I've tried everything, sometimes at the same time (not safe, by the way).
Yesterday I went on a 5 mile hike on the Appalachian Trail in Northern NJ. Great walk, but there were a million bugs, all of whom told their friends about me. The guy I was walking with told me to try this "deet free" stuff. I kept saying no, until I shared the can of OFF I brought with the crowd at the Rutherford Shelter. They used it up so I figured I'd try the Repel.
This stuff is great. It worked for two solid hours. Probably more, but we were back at the car by then. I've just ordered a bunch. Go for it! As a plus, it smells a lot better than the typical stuff, too.
