Customer Reviews
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great product for the price
My daughter was so excited about getting this. It has come in very handy. It was a bit difficult to assemble. Overall good product for the money.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Good product for the money
My oldest son loves this net. He played with it for about 3 hours the first day it arrived and has used it often since then. The only fault with it is that the red "strike zone" cover broke off at one corner on the first day and one of the strings in the net have broken. This is not a big deal as we can paint a strike zone on the net if needed and the rest of the net is fine. I would definitely recommend this and will buy another one if this breaks.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Not a bad deal
We were anxious to get this for our seven-year old to use. We priced many others that were similar, but they were very expensive. The only negative was the red strike zone area that ripped about 5 minutes after we put it together because of some wind.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great for the cost
I bought this pitch back for my daughter so she could practic her pitching. It has served it's purpose well. It should stand the test of time from what I can tell. Although the target they give you with it is cheap and tears almost emmediately it is still pretty good and I would recommend to anyone not wanting to spend to much.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Good pitch back - but parts missing
This is a very good product, but there were not enough of the bungee cords with it. It has held up very well, so far, and my grandson (7) enjoys it almost every day. It has helped him improve his throwing, and catching skills. I would recomend this, but make sure of all the parts!!!

Ted Shelton: "Frankly I felt that BlogOn was a waste of time and money."

I think the BlogOn conference was overproduced. In the name of professionalism the organizing firm turned off potential speakers, oversubscribed sponsors, etc.

I would have liked a debatable topic (aside from *blogging = journalism*. Two people slugging it out. Or a devil's advocate taking challenges from the floor.

I would have liked more hard numbers. Facts. Charts. Diagrams. We have the analytic tools to BS-check them; harder on vague opinions and single-points-of-observation.

I found it disturbing how much money was being commanded (from both attendees and sponsors) for a conference at a university. Maybe it was because it was at Berkeley? Maybe we should have taken over a community college or a Cal State or a DeVry. The facilities costs would have been cheaper at least. I heard an organizer apologize and say the next one would be at a hotel, like that would have been better.

Cost wasn't the whole problem. We're at a stage where early adopters are meeting folks who want to leap the chasm. Huge gaps in knowledge, experience, context, culture, vocabulary. It's the gap.

There are huge ideas to be explored, even in the world of applying blogs to media strategy and the enterprise. And most of the big ideas weren't even on the agenda at BlogOn. Probably because it was catering to those who want to commercialize, fund, and otherwise exploit (excuse me, "get in on") the emerging medium.

Let's fork these conferences so advanced topics on business and technology and culture fit the participants.
